Summer

Remember that time,

When it was daylight saving?

You played outside till 8.00pm,

How happy you felt?

That was summer.

Remember,

Going on the trampoline?

You did a really big jump and nearly fell off the trampoline.

You jumped so high your heart jumped too.

That was summer.

Do you remember,

When you went to the park?

You played on the swings, the slide and the seesaw.

It was so fun

That was summer.

Remember that time,

When you had BBQs at home and at the park?

Touching the really hot, sizzling sausages.

When you ate one you burnt your mouth,

And it really hurt.

That was summer.

Remember that time,

When you went to Jelli Park?

You went in the outside pool and the water was very refreshing,

You felt so relaxed.

That was summer.
